Hi! Or as a lot of people in NC say, Hey!! We are Fran Botzis and Mandy Patterson. Fran is a native of Augusta, GA. She left home for Appalachian State, met her husband and never left NC 😊They reside in Raleigh with their 3 boys and 3 rescue dogs. Mandy was born and raised in Tarboro, NC and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her family of 2 boys and 2 golden retrievers, now live in Winston-Salem, NC.

Our paths crossed over 10 years ago. We both were always talking about decorating our homes while we were balancing raising 5 young boys, collectively. Several years later we were both having work done to our homes. We kept talking about our research and all these great finds. One day we said either we need to make something of this or we need to stop talking...and that is how, almost 9 years ago, Polished Picks, our vintage furniture side came to be!

We both love a good glass of wine, pretty dresses and are always searching for the newest fabric, lamp or other home decor item. As a result of following design trends, artists, bloggers and being asked all the time for design advice, we decided to expand our business to Virtual and In-Person Interior Design Boards. We want everyone to love their home within their budget and we can help you do just that. As we like to say, MAXIMUM style, MANAGEABLE budget.
